Principal Message

Welcome to St. Joseph School,

May the blessings of our Lord Jesus Christ be with each of you!  It is my sincerest pleasure to greet you as the new principal of St. Joseph School.  Founded in 1913, St. Joseph School has served the City of Santa Ana and the Diocese of Orange by providing quality Christ-centered education for over one hundred years.  We aim to provide a positive and supportive environment for our students to flourish in.

The three basic elements woven throughout our school are Faith, Academics, and Community.

Our faith is the center of all we do at St. Joseph.  Students lead the school community in daily prayer, weekly masses, and many other Catholic traditions and celebrations in the Liturgical Calendar.  Throughout its existence, St. Joseph School has been affiliated with and follows the charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Orange (CSJ). We invite you to join us for our monthly school mass on the first Sunday of each month to catch a glimpse of our active faith community.

Our faculty is committed to providing quality and rigorous academic program that meets the needs of students at each of their individual levels.  We combine our deep-rooted traditions with current best practices and technology to support the spiritual, moral, and academic development of each student.  St. Joseph School differentiates the curriculum to fit the needs of all learners through the use of small-group learning and adaptive technology in every class. We support self-regulated learners and use assessments to track student growth over time. We use data to inform our instruction and the learning paths of our students.

Our parent community takes an active and critical role in our school community.  We believe parents are the primary educators of their children and the school works to support our parents in the growth and development of each child.  Our Parent Government Organization, PGO, supports the school through hosting various fundraisers and community events such as class bake sales, movie nights, special dances, and a Christmas Classic fundraiser.  The amazing sense of community found at St. Joseph would not be possible without the support and involvement of our parents.

We invite you to come see for yourself what makes St. Joseph such an amazing place.  Please call and schedule a tour to find out how you can join our community.

In the peace of Christ,

Ms. Kelly Botto, Principal
