Dear Parents, 

 The Extended Day Care Program is available from as early as 6:45 am to 6:00 pm each day St. Joseph School is in session.

Morning (AM) Extended Day Care

The AM Extended Day Care is open from 6:45 am to 8:05 am. Please do not drop off your students prior to 6:45 am.

Students arriving at St. Joseph School before 7:45 am are asked to enter school through the Lacy Street entrance to the Parish Hall where extended day care is held. Parents are asked to accompany their student into extended day care and sign them in.

 Billing period is approximately 18 school days.

Extended Day Care changes will be added to the following monthly school issued invoice.

Example: All Extended Day Care charges for the month of September will appear on the October invoice.

Afternoon (PM) Extended Day Care

The PM Extended Day Care hours are from dismissal to 6:00 pm each day school is in session. Students that are enrolled in the PM Extended Day Care are asked to proceed to the lunch shelter area immediately after dismissal where a Day Care staff member will sign the students in. Students in the PM Extended Day Care divide their time between homework center, arts-n-crafts, indoor activities and outdoor sports and games.

Billing period is approximately 18 school days.

Extended Day Care changes will be added to the following monthly school issued invoice.

Example: All Extended Day Care charges for the month of September will appear on the October invoice.

If your student has not been picked up within 15 minutes after dismissal he/she will be automatically signed into Extended Day Care and you will be billed the appropriate amount.

Parents are asked to sign-out students from PM Extended Day Care. If you are designating someone else to pick up you student they must be included on your Extended Day Care Registration Form (attached), on the blue School Emergency Card or send a signed and date note indicating who will be picking up your student. The PM Extended Day Care is open until 6:00 pm. Extended Day Care staff members are employed until 6:00 pm. A substantial fee of $1.00 per minute will be added to your invoice for late pick-ups.

Regulations and Procedures:

Your student will be asked to follow the rules and regulations of St. Joseph School Extended Day Care as found in the

St. Joseph School – Parent-Student Handbook.

Students must comply with directions of the adult supervisor in Day Care. Habitual disciplinary problems may result in the child no longer being able to attend daycare.

An afternoon snack will be provided each day to students enrolled in the Extended Day-Care Program.

Any St. Joseph School student that remains after dismissal time will be automatically signed into Extended Day Care and charged the appropriate amount.

Only authorized school personnel are allowed in the Day Care areas.
