Poetry Celebration!!

It's that time of the year again, parents!. Our school will be studying and celebrating the beauty of poetry. In an effort to involve all of our students, we want to give everyone an opportunity to perform spoken poetry. Just as we did last year, each class will present a special poem or pay tribute to a particular poet. Each class will be studying a poet, or one of the many forms of poetry, and will learn and present their poem as a class. Individual students from each class who would like to recite a poem may do so during their class presentation.  Last year's more celebratory format was a huge success and once again this year, each class will share with the school and audience what they have learned and prepared. We hope, in this way, to get all students excited about poetry and still keep one of the signature events of our school year.  We know you will enjoy seeing our presentations and we hope all parentsand friends wil join us this year! Mark your calendars!.

Our Annual Poetry event will be:

TUESDAY, APRIL 28th

9:00 am to 10:30 am

In The Parish Hall!

SEE YOU THEN!!!
